What is a bank statement, and how can I get it?
A bank statement is an official summary within a given timeline of financial operations,
withdrawals and deposits, on a single bank account.
Nearly all banks allow their customers to access online bank statements and download them as
a PDF file for free. You can log in to your account through the website or app of the bank
and locate the correct section (usually called "Services," "Bank statements" or
"E-statements"), pick the timeline you are interested in and download the file.
The process by which a statement is obtained varies from bank to bank. We recommend that you
contact the administrator of your bank account for more information if you do not have
access to online banking and statements.
What information does the bank statement contain?
- The account holder's full name
- Account number
- Issuance date – the document should not be older than three months
- Visible name and logo of your bank

Documents Format
- We only accept PDF files. You must submit a good quality scan or photographs if your declaration was given on paper. Screenshots are not permissible.
- The statement should be unedited. No element can be cut, covered or missing.
- If there are several pages in your statement, including empty ones, upload them all into a single file.
